This policy applies to the HKConnect mobile application and its related backend services. HKConnect is intended for authorized organizational use and is not intended for children.

Where technical service providers are required to operate features such as secure hosting or push notifications, they process information only as necessary to provide those services on behalf of HK and subject to applicable safeguards.

HKConnect uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Data transmitted between the application and HKConnect backend services is protected using HTTPS/TLS encryption. Access to internal employee information is restricted to authorized use.

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for employment, operational, security, legal, compliance, or legitimate business purposes. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable organizational or legal requirements.
8. Access, Correction and Deletion Requests

9. Permissions
HKConnect may request device permissions only where required by a feature, such as access to the camera, photos/media, files, or notifications. Permission availability does not mean that all device content is collected. Users can manage applicable permissions through their device settings.

HKConnect is an employee application intended for authorized adult users and is not directed to children.
